LMC Water Resources Cooperation Center Hosted The Latin American Seminar Delegation, And Beijing Guosen Huayuan Was Invited To Participate in The Exchange

On July 29, 2024, LMC hosted the delegation of the Workshop on Water Resources Development and Utilization and Water Environment Governance in Latin America and the Caribbean in Beijing.Representatives from Lancang-Mekong Water Resources cooperation units attended the event. BGT Hydromet was invited to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on deepening cooperation on water resources in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The event specially invited a delegation from Latin America and the Caribbean region for the water resources development and utilization and water environment management workshop. The mission consists of water resources management experts, scholars and government officials from many countries and regions, aiming to enhance the capacity of water resources management and environmental governance through learning and exchange, and promote international cooperation.

During the event, the person in charge of BGT Hydromet Company explained the company's technical products and their application scenarios in detail, and demonstrated the company's solutions on the spot. Representatives from various countries showed great interest in flood forecasting, water resources management and security monitoring, and actively exchanged questions. The participants agreed that through the event, the two sides deepened their understanding of each other and laid a good start for future close cooperation on water resources.
