Precipitation monitoring: The precipitation monitoring point of the automatic measurement and reporting method, using a tipping bucket rain gauge, the resolution is less than 0.5mm;

Reservoir water level monitoring: the automatic monitoring point of the reservoir water level uses a pressure type water level meter, with a comprehensive accuracy of ±0.1%F•S;

3. Dam safety monitoring system

The main construction content of the BGT Hydromet dam safety monitoring system is to bury and install deformation points/GNSS dam displacement monitoring, pressure measuring tubes (piezometers), water measuring weirs and other automatic monitoring instruments and equipment to conduct 24-hour online data monitoring of dam deformation, seepage pressure and seepage, infiltration line monitoring, seepage volume, etc.


Deformation monitoring: Generally, the method of installing observation piers for manual observation is adopted. Depending on the situation, GNSS can also be used for automatic monitoring of surface deformation. Or, on the basis of manual observation, GNSS automatic monitoring facilities can be added at the same time, with automatic as the main and manual as the auxiliary. The monitoring data can be compared and analyzed to improve efficiency and reliability.


Seepage pressure and seepage monitoring: The piezometer is installed in the pressure measuring tube to realize automatic monitoring.


Seepage volume monitoring: The water measuring weir is used for monitoring. The water measuring weir type should be triangular. The water measuring weir meter is installed next to the water measuring weir to realize automatic monitoring.


4. Reservoir downstream early warning system


The early warning system uses advanced intelligent perception, Internet of Things communication, cloud computing, reservoir early warning model and other technologies. Through real-time collection of reservoir rainfall and water level, combined with meteorological forecast data, the reservoir storage capacity, inflow and rain capacity are analyzed. When the reservoir plans to release water, the meteorological warning exceeds the rain capacity or the reservoir water level exceeds the warning water level, the reservoir management personnel can use the system to warn the threatened areas downstream, so that local villagers have sufficient time to prepare for emergency avoidance.


Reservoir dam safety monitoring and early warning platform


Realize the collection, aggregation, analysis, early warning, basic data management, on-site data terminal online operation and maintenance and inspection records of reservoir rain and water conditions and dam safety data, and use GIS to intelligently predict, forecast and warn the status information, real-time data and early warning information of each device. Through data sharing, the system's water and rainfall data, dam safety monitoring data, alarm data and inspection data are pushed to the autonomous region's monitoring platform to achieve information interconnection and interoperability with it.
