The BGT4500S piezometer is designed for embedding in hydraulic structures and bedrock or for installation in pressure measurement pipes, boreholes, dams, pipelines, or pressure vessels to measure pore water pressure or liquid levels. Its primary components are constructed from specialized steel, enabling its use in a variety of harsh environments. The standard permeable stones are fabricated from sintered stainless steel with 50-micron pores, providing exceptional water permeability. The BGT4500AL model represents a low-range piezometer, while the BGT4500SV model is a vented piezometer that effectively compensates for atmospheric pressure variations, making it suitable for water level measurements in pressure measurement tubes.

The model suffixes denote specific types: "S" for the standard type, "AL" for the low-range type, and "SV" for the vented (differential pressure) type. Additionally, high-pressure piezometers can be custom-manufactured according to customer specifications.
